Muse Kitchen
Set among the vines at family-run Keith Tulloch Winery, Muse Kitchen offers contemporary European-inspired dishes served in elegant surrounds.

Views of the nearby mountain ranges are the perfect complement to the almost all-white, provincial-inspired interior. Owners Troy and Megan Rhoades-Brown also run Muse at Hungerford Hill. Seating up to 70, the restaurant is also available for private dinner functions by request.

Elements Bar & Dining
Elements located in the Mercure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens is named after the inspiration derived from the natural elements of fire, water and soil, key components that craft the Hunter valley region.

Exploring the fusion between classic French cuisine and contemporary Australian, the two or three course set price menu demonstrates creativity within the fine dining scene. Surrounded by manicured gardens, the restaurant is home to a large stone open fireplace and combines a clever combination of rustic charm and style.

Il Cacciatore
Il Cacciatore is located in the Hermitage Lodge on the corner of McDonalds and Gillards Roads in Pokolbin.

With an interesting Northern Italian-style restaurant menu, there is also a more casual pizza, pasta and salad menu.

Located in the ground of the Tempus Two Winery in the idyllic Hunter Valley, Oishii features greatest hits from Japanese and Thai cuisine and has an extensive menu that includes curries and carpaccio.

The same menu is also available for takeaway, as the area is the perfect location for picnics. The main room is a large, sleek Japanese styled hall and there is an outdoor, undercover dining area overlooking the vines.

Verandah Restaurant
With the Brokenback Ranges as a backdrop and surrounded by the picturesque vineyards of Calais Estate, The Verandah Restaurant offers the quintessential Hunter Valley experience. A striking Victorian-style wooden verandah embraces two sides of the building and creates an exclusive dining area which is the key feature of the restaurant, and its namesake. Start at the cellar door before enjoying tapas dishes from Verandah's modern Australian menu.
