Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival
The annual Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival is all about Rock n Roll, Classic Cars, Hot rods, Fashion, Music, Dancing and everything good about the 50's and 60's. The weekend attracts large crowds of people from all over Australia to join in the atmosphere as the town centre is transformed into all the glory of a bygone 50’s and 60’s era.

Hunter Valley Steamfest
The Maitland Toyota Hunter Valley Steamfest is Australia's premier festival of steam. This year will welcome visitors from far and wide to experience all things steam.

Don't miss specialty steam train rides, vintage diesel rides, market stalls, road steam, mini steam train rides, face painting, The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences displays (previous known as the Powerhouse Museum), live entertainment and kid's activities.

Groovin The Moo
Groovin the Moo (GTM) has gained national recognition as the only single day touring music event to visit regional cities around Australia as well as the Nation's capital.

With a hand-picked and diverse range of international, national and local artists, GTM programming highlights many well know artists over the years.

Maitland Aroma : Coffee and Chocolate Festival
The Aroma Festival is a coffee and chocolate affair that aims to ward off the winter chill with the best local coffee roasters, a delectable range of chocolates and much more.

Come along to Maitland and enjoy wines, desserts, local cuisine and fresh produce through exhibitors, demonstrations and displays. This year will see the return of a host of popular features and events, including coffee roasters, market stalls, children's activities, and live entertainment.


Maitland Riverlights Multicultural Festival
Riverlights Multicultural Festival will return to Central Maitland this October for whats becoming the most exciting community event in the Hunter Valley.

Celebrating diversity through food, music, dance and interactive experiences, Riverlights transforms Central Maitland into a global village. Visitors can see, taste, feel and experience the different cultures being demonstrated.


Bitter and Twisted Boutique Beer Festival
How will you escape into Maitland Gaol over the first full weekend in November? Some people are going to seriously twisted measures to attend the best damn beer festival!

Bitter and Twisted Boutique Beer Festival will be held inside the walls of the ex-maximum security prison. Weekend detention will include over 50 craft beers, a nationally recognised entertainment line-up, and the best prison food you'll find!
