Lake Glenbawn State Park
Lake Glenbawn offers a wonderful diversity of water, bushland and wildlife. The area provides bushwalking, watersports, fishing, picnic areas, plus camping sites and cabin accomodation.

Lake Glenbawn is also one of the best fresh water spots in NSW. Throughout spring and summer, water sports are popular, including canoeing, pleasure boating, sailing and wind surfing, swimming and water skiing.

The Upper Hunter is home to 150 world renowned thoroughbred horse stud businesses and the centre of Australia's multi-billion dollar breeding industry.

Wollemi National Park

Burning Mountain
Burning mountain is the common name given to Mount Wingen. It takes it name from a smouldering coal seam running underground through the sandstone.

The underground fire is estimated to be at a depth of around 30m (100ft) The scientific estimate is that the fire has burned for more than 6,000 years and is the oldest known coal fire.
